QEP has designed and built Reactor Vessel stud racks with a heavy-duty "lazy susan" swivel bearing design that allows for easier loading and unloading of reactor vessel studs.
The design allows the following stud manipulation improvements:
When located on a reasonably level floor, a fully loaded stud rack can be rotated manually.
The design allows easier loading and unloading with the limited motion range of most RV head mounted stud hoists.
Each stud rack can accommodate the weight of nine (9), 7" diameter x 57" long studs with nuts and washers.
The stud rack is designed with a four-point lift arrangement to eliminate concerns about a "single lift point failure" scenario.
The rack design incorporates easily replaced engineering plastic upper guides and lower stud support pads.
